Supplier Verification: frequently asked questions

What does supplier verification check?

The business license in the official Chinese registry, registered capital and legal representative, manufacturing scope, export history, certifications, court and dishonesty records, and whether the bank account matches the company name.

How much does supplier verification cost?

US$149–299 per supplier, standard US$199. A desk check is at the low end; adding a short site visit to confirm the factory exists at the address moves it to the high end.

Can you tell if a supplier is a factory or a trader?

Yes. We compare the license scope, the address, utility-scale equipment, staff numbers and production records. Many “factories” online are traders — that is fine if you know it, risky if you don’t.
